You have three options of investment within the EB-5 category.

  1. Create a new enterprise- You must invest or be in the process of investing at least US $1,800,000 in a new enterprise. You must create at least 10 full-time jobs for US workers. You must get involved in the day-to-day management of the new enterprise.
  2. Invest in a troubled business- You must invest at least US $1,800,000 in a business that has existed at least for two years. You need to be involved in managing this troubled business.
  3. Regional Center Pilot Program- Invest at least US $1,800,000 or US $900,000 in a regional center linked with a new commercial operation or a troubled business in the USCIS-approved Regional Centre's area (RC). At least 10 new full-time jobs must be created, either directly or indirectly, as a result of the capital expenditure.

You must contact the EB 5 immigration lawyer to understand these alternatives in-depth.
